Atari 7800

The Atari 7800 was a home video game console originally been announced on May 21st 1984 but not released for two years due to the sale of Atari. It had simple digital joysticks and was almost fully backward-compatible with the Atari 2600, the first console to have backward compatibility without the use of additional modules. It was released on June 1st 1986 for $140.00, which would equate to $320.33 today.
