The Apple Bandai Pippin is a multimedia technology console, designed by Apple Computer and produced by Bandai with the goal of creating an inexpensive computer aimed mostly at playing CD-based multimedia software, especially games. The operating system was basically a stripped version of Mac OS System 7.5.2. It was released on September 1st 1995 for $599.00, which would equate to $979.62 today.
